This version of BiomechTools is for University of Winchester Students (UK). It is free to download and is activated via an access code (please ask your tutor). BiomechTools is making it easier to get to grips with biomechanics. The app automatically tracks human movement, and so removes the need for hours of manual digitising. Use the capture menu to choose which side of the body you wish to record (whole body, or just left or right side) and specify the name of the output file, which is really useful for adding trial numbers etc. This version of BiomechTools allows you to process images and videos recorded on your device. Videos can be collected at any sample rate but processing is limited to 1080 frames. Note! We don’t suggest using a device any older than an iPhone 8. Following capture, you will be given the option to export the .csv data file to all the usual places. Any points that go out of view are replaced with NaN’s (not a number).
