Vocoder Signal Flow MagicFusion requires two audio inputs: the carrier (main input) and the modulator (sidechain). The plugin extracts the modulator’s spectral envelope and applies it to the carrier, creating a fused signal where both sources interact. This process provides clean, flexible control over the degree of spectral fusion and allows highly detailed shaping across the frequency spectrum. Dynamic Response & Formants Adjust the Smooth control to define how quickly the vocoder reacts, from fast, precise transitions to slower, more rounded movement. The Formant parameter shifts the spectral character of the modulator, while Detail adjusts the complexity of the filter response — from clean, intricate results to more organic, pumping behavior.
