Discover the amazing geological, natural, and cultural heritage of the municipality of Peniche! Consisting of three complementary routes, the Voltas de Mar application helps you discover the walking routes that run along the coast of the municipality and in the city of Peniche. It allows the visit and interpretation of various sites of heritage interest and landscapes, on routes bathed by the Atlantic. Includes: • CAMINHO DO ATLÂNTICO route - integrates the GR11/E9 and runs along the coastline of the entire municipality of Peniche, over more than 30 km, where history and memory combine with the stunning landscape, with the Reserva da Berlenga on the horizon; • VOLTAS DE MAR route - urban circular route of less than 8km, which integrates an important heritage complex, testimony to the community linked to the sea and fishing; • À DESCOBERTA DA PAPÔA route – circular route for the whole family, with a length of approximately 3km, on the Papôa peninsula which, due to its important geological, natural and cultural heritage, is worthy of a careful visit.
