We support transcription of recordings, audio files, and video files up to 8 hours long. You can transcribe as many recordings as you would like. Is the app actually fully local? Yes! The app uses local models of OpenAI's Whisper and Meta AI's Llama so all transcription and AI features work on-device. Network connection is only required once per session to download the transcription model. Your data is also stored on your device so it is secure and private. As we do not want to upload your data to the cloud, your transcriptions will be deleted if you delete the application. We recommend backing up important transcriptions. How long does it take to transcribe audio? On my iPhone 14 Pro, it takes roughly 5~15% of the recording length to transcribe audio. For instance, a 20-minute recording takes around 2 minutes to transcribe. You may notice a slightly faster transcription rate for short recordings, and slightly slower transcription rate for long recordings. While live transcription is currently unavailable, we hope to support it in the future. What languages are supported?
