Namaste Pay is a new mobile wallet in Nepal brought by Nepal Digital Payments Company (NDPC). NDPC is a joint endeavor between Nepal Telecom and Rastriya Banijya Bank, the leading public enterprises of Nepal in telecom and banking sector respectively. The Namaste Pay wallet service shall work over various channels including smart phone applications, USSD and web portal. Initially, the wallet shall provide cash-in, cash-out, peer-to-peer transfers and a few utilities including telecom recharge, electricity bill payment and water bill payment. More services including the following shall be added in forthcoming releases: Bank Account Integration: Option of over 9+ banks and growing. For loading money to wallet or sending money from the wallet to bank account. Cash-In: Load your wallet directly through mobile banking, banking, debit card/credit card, Connect IPS or through our authorized agent. Cash-Out: Quick transfer the wallet money to your bank account or convert your wallet balance to cash in your pocket through nearby agent. Send and Request Money: Send money to or request money from your friends and families without any hassle. Wallet to wallet transfer: Now you can send money fast and easy to other wallets. It's never been easier to send/receive money to friends and family. Bank transfer: Transfer money from your wallet to bank account of any banks and financial institutions. Utilities Payment: Telecom service top-up or internet bill payment in just few clicks. Pay bills for other utility services such as Water, Electricity, DTH etc. right from your mobile so why stand in queue. More services shall be added in the coming days. Merchant Payments: Pay various online and offline merchants. Book movie tickets, flight tickets, bus tickets. Pay for medical services. Eat out at restaurants, buy groceries, do shopping or even pay for cup of tea. Namaste Pay shall be accepted in thousands of shops and outlets across Nepal. Government Payment: Paying taxes and fees to government or receiving allowances from government, all made hassle free and quick like never before. Educational Institute: Pay school, college, university and professional institutions' fees instantly without any hurdle.
