Once this has happened, the game board expands and becomes a 5x5x5 grid, and play continues until a 5 in a row is built. The game has 3 stages so it is scored as a best of 3 contest. The 5-5-5 Shatterplay is played on a 5x5x5 grid, and the aim is to build a 5 in a row winning line. When this happens, the line explodes and disappears, scoring the player a point. At the same time, any pieces that were above this winning line, all drop a level down there by allowing new line combinations to be built. So you could get multiple lines enabling additional winning lines to obtain points from. Note that it may occur that your opponents scores points from this move, and this is just part of the strategy of the game.
