First, waves of heavy bombers will shatter a narrow sector of the front allowing the American infantry punch into the breach, securing ground before German defenses can recover for a massive counterattack. Finally, armored divisions will pour through, aiming to seize the city of Avranches, the gateway to Brittany and the liberation of France. Hall of Fame shows the status of the setting "American Infantry is Motorized" which gives regular infantry 2 move points instead of 1, since this affects the speed of the game play so much.
