RRate provides an efficient and accurate way to measure respiratory rate. Simply tap the screen in sync with the patient’s breathing and the app will calculate a rate using the most recent consistent tap intervals. Once a consistent rate is established, you can confirm the result by comparing the patient’s breathing to a visual breathing animation of the measured rate. Compared to traditional methods, RRate can calculate a respiratory rate in a fraction of the normal time while maintaining clinical accuracy.
