This means that sex offenders can continue committing horrific crimes with anonymity and, unlike in the USA, it is virtually impossible to identify a suspected sex offender, even using the Child Sex Offender Disclosure Scheme (CSODS), otherwise known as Sarah's Law (UK Police approve just 1 out of 7 requests on average).
