Sealy ISD is seeking to amend our District of Innovation (DOI) plan to allow the district to pursue the option to offer alternative group health coverage to our employees in addition to the TRS-Activecare. This amendment will allow the district to be more responsive to employee and community needs. The District Advisory Team (DAT) met on February 17, 2020, and passed the DOI Amendment in an 18-0 vote. The district is required to post the amendment on the district website for 30 days prior to the Sealy ISD Board voting to approve the amendment. The SISD Board will vote on the amendment at the March board meeting.
