Matthew Titel founded Commonwealth in March of 2007, with the idea that his business would have two primary focuses; its employees and their customers. Matthew's goal is to "Start with education and become your mortgage resource for life." Commonwealth's vision has always been to stay on the forefront of lending issues, laws and practices, so their employees can educate their clients, in turn, making them feel more comfortable in their purchase or refinance. By continuous education and communication, Commonwealth Mortgage Group has taken the business transaction to a more personal level of comfort and security. At Commonwealth, you are treated less like a number, and more like family. When not at work, Matthew enjoys family, fun and philanthropy. Matthew is a University of Wisconsin graduate, holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Management with an emphasis in finance and accounting, a Master's degree from Carroll University in Business Management, and has served six years in the US Army Reserves as a Section Sergeant.
