Late Regency  gown  based on a 1824 fashion plate– in period correct high quality cotton.  It needs to be worn over preiod appropriate corset and petticoat  This dress was made to be featured in our new book -  has been used once for a photoshoot and a Halloween party the price is discounted by about £200!    Features:  * light and breathable cotton, perfect for the summer!  *  bodice  and sleeves decorated lavishly with vintage cotton lace arranged in double ruffles and handstitched onto the bodice. *   the neckline with a funky collar, decorated wiht the same lace * long roomy sleeves -  cuffs closing with a hook and bar, easy to regulate  * lined in light cotton throughout the bodice * bodice fastens at the back, with hooks ( antique Swan bills,  mounted on a tape, so easy to adjust position) and bars  * the hem of the skirt is bound and  sports 3 rows of decoration - traingular trim with lace, plus onbe band of wider lace. altoghether about 60m of lace was used to decorate it! *  finish inside -overlocker *Belt and hat not indluded!!!   Measurements: * fully closed bodice -bust  42" (107cm), waist 31" (79cm)  *back width ( between the shoulder blades) 15" (38cm), sleeve length 23" (59cm)  *underarm to waist; 8.5" (21cm)  *Skirt length: 40" (102cm)  to the hem with the trim reaching a bit lower        It will work best for a corseted  person size 10-14 ( with adaptations, easuer to make smaller!)  please check the measurements carefully Here shown on a model size 12/14 ( UK),        Bespoke gowns like this one start from £690 plus fabric
