Elders Weather provides detailed Australian weather information using data from the Bureau of Meteorology and other trusted sources Designed to support practical decisions across regional, rural and everyday settings, the app gives you reliable forecasts, observations and weather insights wherever you are. With more than 2,000 Australian locations, key international locations and the ability to save up to 10 favourites, Elders Weather makes it easy to check the places that matter most to you. The free app includes current weather conditions, 7-day forecasts, the next 48 hours with hourly or 3-hourly breakdowns, local and national radar, observation history, moon phases, tides where relevant, weather warnings, Delta-T, dew point, sunrise and sunset times, minimum and maximum temperatures, chance and amount of rain, wind and gusts, national satellite, 7-day synoptic charts, Global Forecast System forecasts, rain forecast maps and radar maps with pause and play functionality. Current conditions include temperature, dew point, Delta-T, feels like temperature, relative humidity, wind, gusts, pressure, rain since 9am, rain in the last 10 minutes, local warnings, past 24-hour temperature and wind gusts, plus nearby locations. The 7-day forecast includes minimum and maximum temperatures, rain chance and amount, district forecasts, 9am and 3pm wind forecasts, frost risk, UV Index, and sunrise and sunset times. The next 48-hour forecast helps you plan ahead with temperature, wind direction and speed, rain chance and intensity, dew point and Delta-T. Map features include national, state and local radars with play, pause and zoom functions, national satellite, 7-day synoptic charts, Global Forecast System 0–7 and 8–14 day rain forecast maps, and NINO3.4 and Southern Oscillation Index information. You can personalise the app by choosing your preferred units for temperature, wind speed, rainfall and measurements, setting an alarm inside the app, and enabling push notifications for a range of weather parameters. Selected personalisation features are available with the Silver Subscription. The Elders Weather App is free to download and use, with the option to upgrade to Silver Subscription for AUD$2.99 per year. Silver Subscription gives you access to advanced push notifications, 28-day rain forecasts, 12-month district rain forecasts, longer observation history, extra radar layers and lightning information on national radar. Silver Subscription is an annual membership that lasts 12 months from the date of purchase. Payment is charged to your Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period at the current membership price. Subscriptions can be managed and auto-renewal turned off in Account Settings after purchase; however, the active subscription period will continue until the end and cannot be refunded or cancelled mid-term. The Elders Weather App is owned by Elders Rural Services Australia and uses Bureau of Meteorology data and Weatherzone meteorologists to produce accurate forecasts for Australia and the world.
