Whenever you define an area, a window, a balcony, or a bay with grid lines and arrowheads, all other measurements in the layer appear. This makes it possible to measure areas like the roof that are usually hard to reach – with only one perspective. Furthermore, it will be easier to handle roof work or capture a measurement of a building for example energy consultation and planning of PV modules. After the areas and dimensions have been recorded, PV modules can be placed or automated full dimensioning can be carried out. The module dimensions can then be used to simulate the photovoltaic system.
