Dektor app analytics for October 27

Dektor is the essential companion app for metal detectorists in Romania. It puts every registered archaeological site on the map, helping you detect responsibly and stay on the right side of the law. KNOW WHERE THE SITES ARE Browse thousands of archaeological sites from the national registry (RAN), complete with boundaries, terrain types, and detailed descriptions. Proximity alerts notify you when you're approaching a protected area, so you're never caught off guard. TRACK YOUR SESSIONS Start a detecting session and let Dektor record your path, distance, and duration with GPS tracking — even in the background. Review past sessions, edit tracks, and keep a complete history of your outings. LOG YOUR FINDS Photograph your discoveries, pin them on the map, and add notes. Keep finds private or share them with the community. Organize everything in one place. AI FIND IDENTIFICATION Not sure what you dug up? Snap a photo and let AI analyze it. Get a description of what the object likely is, its approximate period, material, and condition — in seconds. OVERLAY MAPS & DATA LAYERS Go beyond the standard map. Add overlay maps for extra context, and toggle data layers including rivers, roads, forests, contour lines, administrative boundaries, and historical landmarks. MEASURE TOOL Measure distances and areas directly on the map. Plan your detecting routes or estimate field sizes with ease. COMMUNITY SUGGESTIONS Help improve the map for everyone. Suggest terrain type corrections or updated locations for sites, and contribute to a more accurate database.
