Water Eject: Clear Speaker app analytics for October 26

Water Eject on your iPhone and your Apple Watch. Clear Speaker pushes water out of the speaker with a tuned low-frequency sweep. On iPhone it then listens with the microphone and repeats until the speaker sounds clear again. On Apple Watch it runs the sweep through the watch speaker, with the Digital Crown setting how strong it is. ON APPLE WATCH • Eject: a 100 to 300 Hz sweep through the watch speaker. The ring pulses with the sweep, the Digital Crown sets the intensity, and a drip haptic plays when the routine finishes. • Speaker test: short tones to hear whether the speaker sounds right afterwards. • Dry timer: mirrors the timer running on your iPhone. • Water Lock: turn on Apple's Water Lock first, then run Clear Speaker as the deeper clean. • History: every eject on the watch is logged and shows in History on your iPhone. • Complication: Start eject from the watch face. It flips to Clean for 12 hours after a finished eject. • Siri: start a water eject on your watch, or ask how long since your last clean. • The watch app runs on its own, without your iPhone nearby. No ads. No paywall. Nothing ever blocks the eject button. Every feature below is free, and the app never interrupts you while your phone is wet. WHY EJECT SOMETIMES "DOESN'T WORK" Most of the time it is not the tone - it is the setup. Before every cycle, Clear Speaker runs a preflight check and tells you if: - your volume is turned down - your audio is routed to AirPods, a car, or a Bluetooth speaker Fix it in one tap and start. This single check is the difference between water coming out and nothing happening. WHAT IT CLEARS - iPhone and Apple Watch speaker after rain, a pool, a sink, or a spill - AirPods and earbuds - left, right, or alternating so each bud gets its own cycle - Charging port - a dedicated drying mode for a wet Lightning or USB-C port DRY-OUT TIMER The speaker clears in a minute, but a wet charging port needs time. Start a dry-out timer after an eject - 30 minutes for a splash, 2 hours if the phone went in the water, a day if the liquid alert came back - and Clear Speaker tells you when it's time to try the cable again. Or just ask Siri: "Can I charge my phone yet with Clear Speaker?" MEASURE IT, DON'T GUESS The clarity check uses the microphone to score how your speaker actually sounds - a real measurement, not a number we made up. Run it before and after so you can hear and see the difference. The left/right speaker test confirms both channels are working. ONE TAP FROM ANYWHERE ON IPHONE - Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets - Control Center control - Action Button - Siri and Shortcuts: "Eject water with Clear Speaker" - Live Activity shows the cycle running while you dry the phone off BUILT FOR A WET PHONE IN YOUR HAND - Big target you can hit with damp fingers - Haptics and a visual meter so you know it is working - Works fully on device - no account, no sign-up, no internet needed - Nothing leaves your phone - Dark and light themes, full VoiceOver support - Available in English, Arabic, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian and Simplified Chinese HOW TO USE IT 1. Turn the volume up and unplug headphones (the app will remind you). 2. Hold the phone with the speaker pointing down; hold earbuds with the mesh facing down. 3. Press Eject and let it repeat until the app reports clear. 4. Wipe the phone and run the clarity check to confirm. GOOD TO KNOW On iPhone and Apple Watch, sound-based ejection helps push out surface water and loosen debris. It is preventive care, not a hardware repair, and it is not a medical or waterproofing device. If your device has been fully submerged, power it off and let it dry before running long cycles. Keep the volume at a comfortable level.
