Serenity Sketch: Letting Go app analytics for October 20

Serenity Sketch is the self-care app that plays like a game. Paint with water, follow a gentle voice guide, and find rest in Letting Go. Inspired by Zen principles of impermanence, Serenity Sketch invites you to trace water on stone, and relax in watching it evaporate. PAINT WITH WATER A simple yet profound creative practice. You paint something beautiful for the moment, then release it in evaporation. No undo, no self-judgment, no pressure. Most self-care apps are serious and in your head. That doesn't work for everyone! This app is instead tactile, creative, and in your body. WHAT PLAYERS SAY • 'A space of quiet in an overly stimulating and loud world.' • 'When I was painting I realised it was genuinely relaxing me! It's rare for this to be the case with games.' • 'We should really have more games like this!' A GUIDED JOURNEY OF LETTING GO "Travelers come here from far and wide to embark on a renowned Journey" your painting Guide gestures, in invitation. "The Paths that wind into the surrounding wilds will guide you through the rituals of Letting Go." Your Journey opens with the Path of Initiation: six guided Practices, each a unique set of painting prompts with its own lens on creativity and self-care. You are walked through each one by the Guide, a warm and unpretentious voice who invites you to experiment, reflect, and play. Every Practice closes with a few quiet, introspective questions. You may find there is more going on inside you than you knew. Complete the Path and face the Trial of Initiation. It may reveal how this Journey has been shaping you. SELF-GUIDED PAINTING "If you feel drawn to rest, you may go to the Sanctuary to paint freely there." Whenever you simply want to paint, your Home Sanctuary is open for freeform, unguided painting. You'll have all brushes to hand at Home. BEAUTIFUL NATURAL SETTINGS "The Path leads you along a placid lake shore. The rising sun warms your skin, and plays off the glimmering water." An ancient forest. A serene ocean bay. Mysterious cliffs along the shore. Each soundscape and environment shapes your self-care distinctively. MADE FOR iPad This is a tactile experience, designed for iPad. Paint with your fingertip, or an Apple Pencil with responsive pressure and tilt visuals. No drawing skill required. If you have ever thought 'but I'm not an artist...' this was made for you! CONTENTS This early version of Serenity Sketch includes 8 hand-crafted, meaningful Practices that can be enjoyed multiple times. You may find yourself... • Travelling the full Path of Initiation - guided painting, exploring 5 unique themes • Copying a mysterious Glyph ... paint along to curious music ... re-interpret a sketch left by another Journeyor • Facing the Trial of Initiation - a subversive, cathartic climax to the first Path in your Journey of Letting Go • Returning to your Home Sanctuary, for self-guided painting PRICING Your first two Practices are free. Then a one-time purchase of $4.99 (or your local equivalent) unlocks the remaining Practices, forever, no subscription. WHO MADE THIS? Hi, I'm Josh, the solo fulltime developer on Serenity Sketch. With the help of freelancer friends on art, music, and design, we've built this first (small!) version of the app. Serenity Sketch is made by Copper Coin, an independent studio making 'games for the second half of life'. Curious? Inspired? Want to work together? Get in touch at coppercoin.nl. WHAT THE APP BELIEVES Creativity is our birthright as humans. And you don't need the label of "artist" to tap into that. Just some self-trust and curiosity. Similarly, you don't need to be a spiritual guru to tap into the profound. What you do need is to slow down, pay attention, and learn to listen to yourself. If you've ever finished a Practice in Serenity Sketch, and sat with the ending a little longer than you expected to, that's the game working as intended.
