Pour Over Coffee Timer: Gota app analytics for October 24

Gota is the pour over coffee timer and brew journal for people who take filter coffee seriously. Whether you're dialing in your morning V60 or trying a new AeroPress recipe, Gota walks you through every step and fits the recipe to your own gear. 100 BREWING METHODS, OVER 1,000 RECIPES V60, AeroPress, Chemex, Kalita Wave, Origami, Orea, April, Hario Switch, Clever, French press, moka pot, siphon and cold brew. Recipes by named baristas, roasters and championship winners, each with dose, water, ratio, grind, temperature and timed pour steps, and a link to the source. GUIDED BREW TIMER Bloom, pour, wait, swirl: Gota shows the water to reach at every step, counts you in with 3-2-1 and cues each pour with a sound and a haptic tap, so you can watch the coffee instead of the clock. VOICE GUIDANCE AND VOICE CONTROL Gota reads each step aloud and you answer back: say "Done", "Start pour", "Resume" or "Finish" and the brew moves on without touching the screen. It works in all six languages of the app. Off until you turn it on. BLUETOOTH SCALES Connect an Acaia scale for live weight, your pour rate in grams per second, a cue before each target and pours that end by weight. The pour curve stays in your history. Timemore, BOOKOO, DiFluid, Felicita and Decent are in beta. A scale is optional. YOUR GRINDER'S CLICKS Add your grinders — 50 models from Comandante, 1Zpresso, Timemore, Baratza, Fellow, Niche and more — and every recipe's grind shows up as the setting on your own dial. LIVE BREW VIDEO Film your brew and Gota cuts the video for you: each step's target weight, time and temperature over your own footage, closing on your rating. Vertical and ready to share. AI BARISTA Before the first pour, the barista reads the recipe, your coffee and how fresh it is, your grinder and your past brews, and suggests one change. After the cup, it suggests the next one. AI RECIPE IMPORT AND BAG SCANNING Photograph a recipe card, a page or a screenshot, or paste the text, and Gota turns it into a recipe with timed steps. Photograph a coffee bag and it fills in roaster, origin, process and roast date. BEANS AND FRESHNESS Keep a shelf of your coffees with an image of each bag. Gota tracks how fresh each one is and how many grams are left, and links every bag to your brews. BREW JOURNAL AND INSIGHTS Rate every cup, tag its flavors and add notes. Insights shows your current coffee, a suggested next brew and where your taste is drifting. CREATE YOUR OWN RECIPES Build recipes with full control over steps, pour targets, flow rates and timing, and share them as an image card. COLD BREW Tell the assistant how much you want and how you'll drink it, and it works out the recipe. The steep counts down on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. LEARN 40 lessons across five chapters — the bean, foundations, methods, techniques and cupping — with interactive demos and a 51-term glossary. ALSO INSIDE Widgets for your Home and Lock Screens, an extraction calculator with the SCA brewing control chart, compatible filters for every method, dark mode, grams or ounces, Celsius or Fahrenheit. In English, Spanish, German, Japanese, Korean and Portuguese. No account needed, and the library works offline. GOTA PRO Unlock every recipe, unlimited custom recipes and the AI features — recipe import, bag scanning, the barista and the cold brew assistant — with a monthly or yearly subscription.
