Promptly - AI Video Editor app analytics for October 24

Promptly is the AI video editor for iPhone creators who don't want to be video editors. Upload a talking-head clip, describe the vibe you want, and get a polished TikTok, Reel, or YouTube Short back in 90 seconds. If you post short-form video, you know how this usually goes: 2 hours of editing for a 30-second clip, and the captions still don't look right. Promptly was built to fix that. HOW IT WORKS 1. Tap + and pick a talking-head clip from Photos 2. Type or speak the style you want — "viral hype," "founder POV," "storytime" 3. Wait under a minute 4. Get a finished vertical edit, ready to post WHAT GETS DONE TO YOUR VIDEO — Word-level auto-captions in 20 styles, matched to the vibe — Every filler word and dead-air pause cut automatically — Zoom effects punched in on your strongest lines — Transitions placed where they make sense — not every 3 seconds — Motion graphics, text reveals, on-screen callouts — B-roll cutaways that visualize what you're saying — Sound effects timed to the beats THE WHOLE INTERFACE IS A CHAT No timeline. No drag-and-drop. No 20-minute YouTube tutorials. You talk to the AI the way you'd talk to an editor — and the result lands in 60 seconds, not 48 hours. RE-EDIT BY CHAT (PRO) Don't like something? Just say what to change: "make captions bigger," "cut the intro," "add a zoom on the hook." Promptly re-renders without you re-uploading the clip. VOICE INPUT Tap the mic in the composer and just talk. Describe the vibe out loud — Promptly transcribes on-device and fills the prompt for you. No typing required. PRICING — Free: 1 video edit per day, 50 AI chat messages per day. All 20 caption styles. Every effect. — Promptly Pro: Unlimited edits, unlimited chats, the Re-edit feature, upload up to 10 videos at once, and a priority render queue. $12.99/week, $39.99/month, or $399.99/year (yearly saves 17% vs. paying monthly).
