OhmSplit is a one-time-purchase, 100% on-device stem separator for Mac, iPhone, and iPad. Drop a track in, get clean stems back, preview them in a real mixer, and export. On Mac, a Swift host runs a bundled FastAPI backend strictly on the local loopback interface; on iPhone and iPad, native Demucs MLX runs in-process — no cloud.
KEY POINTS
* 100% on-device — no cloud, no account, no data collected.
* 2- or 4-stem local HT-Demucs separation with a real preview mixer.
* Canonical stems stay lossless WAV or FLAC. Share a stem or mixer bounce as a new AAC copy, or as MP3 when the platform reports a compatible public encoder — the original is never replaced.
* Tempo and key are measured on your device, and withheld when the track is too ambiguous to call.
* One-time universal purchase; works offline after install.
WORKS WITH OHMS SAMPLE AND OHMS TERRAIN
* On Mac, send a stem straight into Ohms Sample or Ohms Terrain: the file is written locally and the app opens on it. If the app is not installed, the button offers its App Store page.
WHAT IT IS NOT
* Not a cloud stem-separation service. Your audio never leaves your device.
PRICING
* One-time purchase (universal Mac + iOS).
REQUIREMENTS
* macOS 14+ or iOS 17+ on Apple Silicon (iPhone or iPad). One consent-gated model download on first run.
