ROCKET Connect - Panic is the emergency help app for eligible ROCKET Connect members in South Africa. When you need medical assistance, hold the panic button to send a help request. The app shares your phone number and GPS location with ROCKET so the response team can locate you and coordinate help. FEATURES • Sign in securely with your mobile number and a one-time SMS code • Hold-to-activate panic button to reduce accidental alerts • Share your current location with your help request • Live status screen while help is active • Cancel a request if it was a false alarm • Quick access to call emergency services • Profile settings, including location permission and left/right-handed layout • Link to manage your ROCKET Connect membership in the Connect portal WHO CAN USE THIS APP This app is for people with an active, eligible ROCKET Connect membership. If you are not eligible, the app will direct you to sign up or manage your membership. HOW IT WORKS 1. Sign in with your phone number 2. Allow location access so responders can find you 3. Hold the panic button when you need help 4. Stay on the active help screen for status updates, or mark a false alarm if help is no longer needed IMPORTANT This app does not replace national emergency numbers. In a life-threatening emergency, call local emergency services immediately as well as using the panic button if you are a member.
