Chocolateplus Film app analytics for October 23

Most apps hand you a feed. This one hands you a film — and every way out of it. START FROM SOMETHING YOU KNOW No questionnaire, no taste profile. You get two films and one question: which one, tonight? That's the whole setup. PICK A DIRECTION, THEN PICK THE FILM From any film, choose where to go next: older or newer, bigger or smaller, well known or deeper cuts, the same people or new ones, shorter or longer, closer to home or further afield. Each direction is a real search with a real count — never a shuffle. Tap one, choose from what's down it, and that film becomes the one you're on. EVERY STEP GIVES A REASON "Shares 3 of its themes — space travel, based on a novel." "Same director." "52 years earlier." Nothing is a guess and nothing is a score. Every move is a fact you can check. FILMS AND SERIES A film can lead to a series and back. Series say what they are — seasons, episode length — and a move across the two says so. THE FILM PAGE Its numbers with their denominators. Who made it and who's in it. The threads it sits on. The trailer, played right there. Where to watch in your region. And the ways out of it. PLAN TO WATCH Set an evening and it goes in your calendar with the film's real running time and a reminder half an hour before. The app remembers, so you can move it or take it off. YOUR CINEMA Save films. See what your travelling adds up to — the decade you land in, the length you gravitate to, the languages — all counted on your phone, never sent anywhere. See every film you've reached, joined to where you came from. NO ACCOUNT. NO TRACKING. Nothing you do here leaves your device except the film lookups themselves. DEEP Everything above stays free. Deep adds room: six directions instead of three, every route kept, and the yearly report. Film data, artwork and availability from TMDB.
