Ataraxia –– Noise Sculptor app analytics for October 23

Ataraxia is a dual-layer granular synthesizer and real-time noise sculptor designed for both iOS standalone use and AUv3 plugin hosts. Engineered for sound designers, ambient producers, and sleep enthusiasts alike, Ataraxia allows you to blend two independent synthesis engines into lush, evolving acoustic landscapes and kinetic textures. From crisp white noise and scattered rain patterns to deep, muffled ambient rumbles, sculpt your environment with surgical precision using 17 real-time DSP parameters. KEY FEATURES Dual-Layer Synthesis: Run Layer A (Cyan) and Layer B (Pink) simultaneously with a tactile Equal Power crossfade blend control. Granular Sound Engine: Take absolute control over Texture (grain length), Flow (density), Edge (window envelope), and Color (high-pass/shelf tone shaping). Kinetic Modulation: Modulate warmth, texture, and density over time using the low-frequency Breathe LFO for organic, swelling soundscapes. Doppler Rotary Effect: Apply Whirl—a Doppler-based Leslie speaker emulator—to generate spinning, three-dimensional spatial motion. Built-in Reverb Bus: Glue your textures together with dedicated Reverb Mix and Decay controls. Responsive AUv3 & Standalone: Enjoy a full single-screen layout in Standalone mode for focus and sleep, or a responsive 3-tab interface inside DAWs like AUM, Logic Pro, and GarageBand. Zero Input Required: Pure synthetic noise generation using internal DSP—no microphone permissions needed, ensuring complete offline privacy. Whether you're crafting background focus noise, sculpting dark cinematic textures, or searching for the ultimate ambient sleep environment, find peace in the noise with Ataraxia.
