Use one fabric for the whole dress or a different one for each piece, then add the finishing touches — a satin bow, lace trim, pearl buttons, rose appliqué and more. CUT AND SEW IN YOUR WORKSHOP Take the design to your workshop table. Lay the paper patterns on the fabric with their arrows along the grain, cut the pieces out with your shears and stitch the seams on your sewing machine.
