Optional tools for your AI agent The free taskforge CLI and local MCP server, installed separately on Windows, Mac or Linux, give compatible agents tools to read and edit tasks and notes. File system requirements and All files access TaskForge is a document and file management app. Its core purpose is to locate, read, edit and organize the Markdown (.md) files in folders you pick across shared storage. It reads files in those folders, writes every edit back to the original file and watches them for changes made by other apps. Android's All files access permission (MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE) makes this possible; without it, TaskForge cannot open your folder and does not work.
