Be-Maps is a location-sharing, friends or family safety and personal security application. Connect people on one map Be-Maps brings more safety thanks to: private location sharing, proximity, smart geofencing, safety-related alerts and events, activity history, motion detection, dashcam and more. All these features are put together on one interactive map. Designed for families, close friends and trusted groups, it helps you to coordinate daily life, stay safer and aware of important events. Privacy-oriented, email-based data-sharing architecture Be-Maps does not operate central servers that collect users' location history and data. Here members of this one private group exchange encrypted information through their one private & dedicated email account. All data is transferred only via that email, and is stored only on the devices of this private group. Users can configure sharing permissions for different members. Note: The email provider still carries the encrypted messages. Private location sharing See the locations of participating family members and friends on a shared map. Check whether someone is on the way or has arrived, review location history for up to 180 days, and open a shared location in Google Maps for directions. Choose when to share your own location. Smart geofencing with GeoShapes Go beyond standard geofences. Create Places, custom-shaped Zones and Paths for locations and routes that matter, such as home, school or the journey to work. Receive visual or spoken notifications for relevant location events. Proximity alerts and visit reminders Get notified when someone in your group is nearby or moves too far away. Set location-based reminders for visits, stops and everyday errands, without repeatedly checking the map. Activities and location history View walking, running, cycling, driving and other recorded activities alongside locations. Remote monitoring With monitoring enabled on the device and permissions configured, approved group members can request photos, audio or video from that device. Note: Monitoring requires the monitored device to remain open on its monitoring screen. DashCam with impact detection Turn your smartphone into a DashCam. Record driving videos linked to map locations so you can find footage by where it was captured. Optional impact detection can alert selected group members and share your location if a significant impact is detected. Privacy by design Your Be-Maps Group uses one dedicated email account to exchange encrypted data between approved devices.
