Can't select text on an Android screen? AnyCopy helps you copy text on screen when normal long press does not work. Use Accessibility mode for visible interface text or on-device OCR when words are part of an image. Select only what you need AnyCopy places selectable regions over the current screen. Choose one or more text blocks, review the combined result, make edits, then copy it to the clipboard or share it with another app. Two ways to read screen text Accessibility mode After you tap the AnyCopy notification, Accessibility mode reads visible text exposed by the current app and marks each detected area. It is suited to messages, comments, product details, tracking numbers, addresses, codes, captions, and other interface text. OCR mode When text is inside a screenshot, photo, receipt, poster, document, slide, sign, menu, or paused video frame, OCR mode captures the current screen with Android's screen-capture permission. Text recognition runs on your device and supports Latin, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Devanagari scripts according to your device language. Made for text that normal selection misses - Copy unselectable text when long press is disabled - Copy text shown in screenshots, photos, receipts, signs, slides, and video frames - Select several detected text blocks from the same screen - Preview and edit the result before using it - Copy to the clipboard or share directly - Switch between Accessibility and OCR in Settings - Start a copy session from the persistent notification How AnyCopy works 1. Open AnyCopy and choose Accessibility or OCR. 2. Grant the permissions required for the mode you want to use. 3. Open the screen that contains the text. 4. Tap the AnyCopy notification. 5. Select one or more text areas. 6. Review, edit, copy, or share the result. Permissions used for core features Accessibility Service lets AnyCopy read visible interface text after you trigger a copy session. Screen Capture lets OCR analyze the current screen. Display over other apps shows the selection overlay, and notification permission keeps the copy trigger available. AnyCopy is useful for collecting notes from learning content, copying product details, reusing addresses and tracking numbers, capturing text from images, or turning hard-to-select screen text into editable text.
