Glass OS is a liquid glass home screen for Android. It looks beautiful on a touchscreen phone, and on a keyboard phone like the Unihertz Titan 2 it lets you do almost everything without lifting your thumbs off the keys.
TRUE LIQUID GLASS
Every pane is real liquid glass. The dock, the Hub cards, the tab bars and the buttons bend and magnify whatever passes underneath, so your wallpaper and your messages curve around the edges as you scroll. Prefer a calmer frosted look? Switch to the classic glass in Settings.
MADE FOR TOUCHSCREEN AND KEYBOARD PHONES
On a touchscreen phone, tap Search to type, swipe for the Hub and your app pages, and hold an empty spot to add apps, widgets or open Settings. On a tall screen the clock sits near the top with your widgets down the side. On a keyboard phone, just start typing on the Home Screen, and shortcuts like Alt+Backspace open the Hub over any app.
THE HUB
Swipe right for every message and notification in one place, sorted into Messages, Calls, Email and Social. Each card shows who it's from with their picture. Open a card to read the whole conversation and reply without leaving the Hub. The Hub is also an app of its own, with its own icon and its own card in Recents.
ONE SEARCH THAT DOES MORE
Type an app's name and press Enter to open it. Start with a symbol to do more in one line:
@ to message someone
# to call them
- to add a to-do
! to write a note
* to add an event ("dentist friday 10am" just works)
+ for a timer, : for an alarm, ? to ask your assistant
A CLOCK WITH DEPTH
The time sits behind the subject of your wallpaper. Use the built-in wallpapers, your own photo or even your own video, and Glass OS finds the subject for you. The date can sit in front of the depth effect or below the clock, and your lock screen changes to match.
YOUR DAY AT A GLANCE
Glass bubbles on the Home Screen open into the weather for the next few hours, what's playing with its controls, your next events, your to-do list and your latest notes. Add widgets from your other apps to your app pages too.
NOTES, TO-DO AND EVENTS BUILT IN
Notes with Personal, Work and Private folders, with private notes behind your fingerprint. A to-do list you can add to from anywhere. A full month calendar with colours, using the calendars already on your phone. Each one opens as its own app in Recents.
ICON PACKS, FOLDERS AND BADGES
Use any icon pack from the Play Store, pick a different icon for any app or rename it, drop one app on another to make a folder, and keep your favourites in the glass dock, up to six across. Place Anywhere lets you leave gaps and blank pages exactly where you want them. Apps show a red number when they have something new.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account, no ads and no analytics. Your notes and messages stay on your phone, and backups are encrypted with a passphrase only you know. Coming from Keyboard Launcher Pro? Restore your backup during setup.
THIRTEEN LANGUAGES
English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Turkish, Japanese, Korean and Chinese, with every screen translated.
Glass OS runs on any phone with Android 13 or later. One price, and every update after that is free.
The icons in the screenshots are Vision Icons by Lokki, sold separately. Glass OS works with any icon pack you like.
ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE (OPTIONAL)
Three optional features use an Android accessibility service: swipe down on the Home Screen to open your notifications or quick settings, double tap an empty part of the Home Screen to turn the screen off, and Alt+Backspace to open the Hub from any app. They are off until you turn them on, and Glass OS explains what the service does during setup and before each one is turned on. It reads nothing from your screen, and nothing it does leaves your phone.
