Translate text with a floating screen translator, or open photos and documents in the app. 📖 Batch comic translation Open Comic Translate from the home page and select up to 30 images. Pages are translated in order, failed pages can be retried, and completed pages can be saved together. Speech bubble detection, text recognition and image rewriting bring the translated words back into the page. 🔎 Manga translation on your screen Use the floating ball in Manga mode while reading a comic or webtoon. The result shows the edited capture with translations drawn into the speech bubbles. Pinch to zoom up to 4×, drag to inspect small text, and tap a translation to see its details. Export to the editor to change the translated text and adjust its size before saving. 📷 Photo, camera and image translator Translate signs, menus, labels and screenshots from your camera or gallery. The result is a translated image, with source text removed and translated text placed to follow the original colours, angle and layout. Tap to compare with the original. Use the editor to adjust text and appearance, then save or share the result. Live camera mode updates translations as you point the camera at text. 🎮 Screen translator for games and apps Read dialogue, menus and quests without copying text or switching apps. Translate the full screen, select a region, or use auto translation as content changes. A personal glossary helps keep recurring names and terms consistent. Reading mode is available for articles and web novels. 🎬 Translate visible video subtitles Select the subtitle area in a video or live stream. Subtitle mode updates the translation as the text on screen changes. 📄 PDF, Word and text translation Open PDF, Word or TXT documents and save the translated text as a new file. You can also select text in supported apps and send it to Screen Translate. 🌍 Languages and translation tools Translate between 100+ languages, including English, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Russian, Arabic, Hindi, Thai and Vietnamese. Choose from available translation engines and AI tools. History, favourites and a glossary help you return to useful translations. 🎁 Daily use and VIP Daily free use is available. Daily rewards and supported rewarded videos can provide extra VIP time. VIP benefits and usage allowances are shown in the app. Batch comic translation has a daily page allowance, including for VIP members. Text recognition and permissions On-device OCR can recognise supported scripts locally when the required models are available. Translation with online engines and cloud OCR require an internet connection. Screen capture and overlay permissions enable on-screen translation. Reading mode uses the Accessibility Service to read visible text for translation. Recognised text is sent to the selected translation service when an online engine is used. Local OCR describes the recognition step; it does not make an online translation offline.
