Stillness: Phone & App Blocker app analytics for November 1

Stillness is an app blocker and phone lock that helps you cut your screen time and put your phone down. Set a timer, from five minutes to a full day, hold to begin, and your phone locks. No willpower, no negotiating with yourself. Once it starts, you're committed. Most app blockers and screen time tools feel like punishment. Stillness feels like a calm place to land. The lock screen isn't a guilt-trip countdown; it's a slow, beautiful ambient scene you'll actually want to look at. THREE WAYS TO DISCONNECT ◆ Full Lock — Lock your whole phone for minutes or for hours. Only emergency calls and incoming calls get through. The lock holds until the timer ends. ◆ Selective Lock — Block just the apps that pull you in (social media, games, news) and keep the ones you need. A focused app blocker, not an all-or-nothing wall. ◆ Daily Limits — Set app time limits: an hour of YouTube a day, say. When it's spent, the app rests until tomorrow. A quiet note comes before time runs out; strict mode keeps the day's rest in place. BLOCK APPS ON A SCHEDULE Set recurring locks across your week: morning deep work, phone-free dinners, a calm bedtime wind-down. They begin on their own. Set the rhythm once; Stillness keeps it. BUILT TO HOLD Other lock apps fall apart the moment you reboot or switch away. Stillness doesn't. Sessions survive restarts, app switching and force-stops. Daily Limits hold too: Android itself counts the time, so a restart never resets the clock. YOUR LIFE, IN SEASONS Instead of streaks and badges that turn focus into a chore, Stillness gives you seasons: the slices of life worth protecting. Name one "Morning Quiet," "Family Dinners," "Deep Work." Every lock you complete adds a star to that season's galaxy. No finish line, no streak to break. Just a quiet, growing picture of the time you've taken back. A LOCK SCREEN WORTH SEEING Five handcrafted ambient themes make the most-looked-at screen on your phone the most beautiful: ◆ Dusk — Warm last light rising through a deep violet sky ◆ Ocean — Gentle dark swells breathing beneath moonlight ◆ Forest — Soft shafts of light and fireflies through a dark canopy ◆ Aurora — Northern lights flowing across a starlit sky ◆ Eclipse — A total solar eclipse arrives as your session begins PERFECT FOR ◆ Deep work and study ◆ A digital detox or dopamine reset ◆ Cutting screen time without deleting your apps ◆ Keeping YouTube, TikTok, or games to a daily limit ◆ Phone-free meals and family time ◆ Calmer evenings and better sleep ◆ Breaking a doomscrolling habit FREE, WITH PREMIUM Stillness is free: both lock modes, scheduling, seasons, daily limits, and the Ocean theme, with no ads. Premium removes the ceilings: every theme, unlimited blocked apps, schedules, seasons, and daily limits. HOW STILLNESS USES THE ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE Stillness uses Android's AccessibilityService to make focus sessions work. The service lets Stillness detect which app is currently in the foreground so it can enforce your lock — showing the lock screen when a session is active, redirecting away from apps you've chosen to block during Selective Lock, and resting an app that has used its daily time. Stillness reads only the package name of the app currently in the foreground. It does not read, collect, log, or transmit your screen contents, the text you type, your keystrokes, or any personal information. The accessibility service is used solely to enforce the locks you set up, entirely on your device. Nothing is ever sent anywhere. Daily Limits also uses Android's Usage Access to read how long an app was open today — counted by Android, read on your device, never sent anywhere. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Stillness collects zero data. No analytics, no tracking, no ads, no account. Everything stays on your device, and locking your phone never needs an internet connection. The permissions we ask for exist only to lock your phone. Nothing else. Made with care by Spiral Studio.
