Before you start You’ll need to be registered for Santander Connect online banking with an up-to-date mobile phone number registered so that we can send you a One Time Passcode (OTP). Once that’s done, it takes a few minutes to get started with Santander Connect: •     Open the app and enter your Santander Connect log on details •     We’ll send you a OTP by text message •     Enter the code into the app to register your device •     Create a 5-digit PIN to protect your app •     We’ll ask you if you want to set up Touch ID or Face ID to log on and authorise payments instead of using a PIN. And that’s it, you’re in. Remember Never share an One Time Passcode (OTP) with another person. Not even a Santander employee. Never download software or let anyone log on to your computer or devices remotely following or during a cold call. Never enter your Online Banking details after clicking on a link in an email or text message. (English language only) For security our app won’t work if your mobile device has had the manufacturers operating systems modified or removed in any way e.g. your device has been jail broken or rooted. Please make sure you have the latest Android software on your phone so that our app runs smoothly. Your device will need to be running Android version 8.0 or higher to use this app. If you are unable to update to this version, please contact us so we can issue you with an alternative authentication.
