Today's muddy escapade was not just a playful adventure but a crucial component in nurturing our students’ overall development well-being. As Richard Louv, the author of the book Last Child in the Woods: Saving Our Children from Nature-Deficit Disorder, would say, "We should not think of a child's experience in nature as an extracurricular activity. It should be thought of as vital to children's health and development." Orchard couldn’t agree more with that statement.
