The people behind the project group are Tobias Guldberg Frøslev, Thomas Stjernegaard Jeppesen, Thomas Læssøe (SNM) and Jens H. Petersen with Jacob Heilmann-Clausen as project leader. The webportal is accessible at: www.svampe.databasen.org Note that this application can ask for permission to use your location, which is going to make it easier for your to report sightings as well as find observations near you. Use of GPS technology is subject to worsen your batterlife. Your location is secure and is not accessed by anyone, and are only shared with Fungal Atlas when uploaded as part of an observation. Technologies such as automatic image recognition is never able to be completely precise, and it is therefore important that usage of the system is used in collaboration with an expert.
