Qafiyat Al-Arab — the complete Arabic poetry library, to read, understand, and play. Over 136,000 poems by nearly 2,900 poets in two separate collections: Fasih (classical) from the pre-Islamic era to today, and Nabati from the poets of Arabia and the Gulf. Every poem with or without tashkeel, every poet with a short biography and an imagined portrait. POEM COMMENTARY More than 7,800 poems explained line by line, each with the story behind it. This includes the entire pre-Islamic era, the diwans of Al-Mutanabbi, Ahmed Shawqi, Al-Farazdaq, and Jarir, and a growing number of Mukhadram and Nabati poets. An "explained" badge in the library points you to them. INSTANT SEARCH Type any word, hemistich, or poet name and find every match in a moment, across the full text of the whole library.
