Arbor: Family Tree & Genealogy App-Analysen für 20. Oktober

Arbor is a beautifully simple family tree maker for iPhone and iPad. Build your genealogy, map your ancestors, and keep your whole family history in one private place — with no account, no subscription, and no cloud required. Unlike the big genealogy services, Arbor keeps everything on your device. Your data stays yours. KEY FEATURES • Build your tree — add parents, children, partners and siblings from anyone's card or right from the tree, and watch your family chart grow across generations. • Visual family tree — explore a clean, automatically arranged view of your entire lineage. The Ancestors view shows one person's ancestors, five generations at a time. • Relationship finder — pick any two people and instantly see how they're related: cousin, great-uncle, in-law, and more. • All relatives — everyone related to one person, grouped by kinship and closest first, up to third cousins or filtered to an exact degree. • Ancestor fan — the classic pedigree fan: one person at the center, up to five generations of ancestors around them, Sosa-Stradonitz numbering, and an empty slot held for every ancestor still missing. • Life timeline — birth, marriages, the birth of each child and death in date order, with the age at every event. • Upcoming birthdays — who is next in the year ahead, in how many days, and the age they're turning. With a reminder, if you want one. • Tree check — eight kinds of problem, from a death before a birth to a circular family link, sorted into errors and warnings. • Find duplicates — the same person entered twice, grouped by how likely the match is. Merging the cards loses no link and fills the empty fields. • Marriages and adoptive parents — a wedding date and place, a divorce or separation, and parent links you can mark as adoptive. Both travel through GEDCOM. • GEDCOM import & export — bring in data from any genealogy service via the standard GEDCOM format, and take it with you anytime: now with places, occupations and notes in both directions. • Big trees — past 1,000 people the tree opens as a map, already centered on its most crowded area, with pinch to zoom and a tap for anyone's card. Tested on trees of 24,000 and 50,000 people. • Fully offline — no internet, no login, no waiting. • Your data, exportable — back up or move your tree as a standard JSON or GEDCOM file whenever you like. Arbor Pro — a one-off purchase, never a subscription — opens the tree and the tools beyond the first 10 people. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No ads. No tracking. No account. Your ancestors and relatives never leave your device unless you choose to export them. WHO IT'S FOR Anyone tracing their roots — from a quick family chart for the kids to a growing genealogy project spanning many generations. Start your family tree today and watch your roots come to life.
