Center your position with one tap on the location button and compare the labeled 3D horizon with the real one. Around a quarter of a million summits, towns and villages are searchable by name on the device, in their local spellings too — Großglockner, Grossglockner and Monte Bianco all work. YOUR HIKES IN 3D Open a GPX track from Files, Mail or any app's share sheet and see the whole route draped over the terrain — every switchback, every col, the way it actually climbs. Then fly the route as a tour, seek bar included. Great for planning tomorrow's hike or reliving today's. A REAL SKY, AND A WAY AROUND EVERY PEAK Sun, moon — with its phase — and stars stand where they really do for the date, time and place you are looking from, with the compass points marked on the horizon and an optional sky map with an astronomical grid. Tap a summit and choose orbit to circle it and see it from every side. PHOTOS KNOW WHERE THEY WERE TAKEN Choose a photo and PeakNav flies you to the exact spot it was shot from, so you can finally put a name on that summit in the background.
