Ramble Tag Metro is a simple yet clever device that allows a sighted individual to more independently guide a visually impaired person who is wanting a guiding arm.  The Ramble Tag cuff wraps around the guide’s upper arm.  A close fitting strap on the cuff gives the guided person a handhold for guiding, without having to physically hold or touch the sighted guide.  This allows for close contact guiding, while not having to get too close.  The strap allows the guided person to stay in close contact with the guide, while not having to physically touch the guide, affording a little more space and independence between the guide and the guided.  Physical boundaries can be easily respected. The Ramble Tag Metro is similar to the Ramble Tag Original, but with a tighter, flat loop and better for highly congested areas where a large drop strap could get caught on something. The Ramble Tag Metro is an excellent guidance device for a person moving through congested urban areas because nothing hangs off the cuff, reducing the opportunity for it to catch on anything.  It is a great tool for people moving through busy transit hubs or riding public transportation.
