The AION application together with the AION Shield provides continuous remote monitoring of a patient’s body temperature. The AION Shield reads a patient’s temperature every 5 minutes and sends the readings to the AION application. In the AION app, you can review your current temperature, 24h temperature history, and add oral temperature manually. Your AION Shield can be worn for up to 30 days so that your clinicians can track your vitals constantly. Your temperature readings are available to your clinician at any moment. The AION Shield application does not collect, store or transmit your personal information. All your temperature readings are securely transmitted and stored according to the HIPAA rules. Before using the application, please ensure that NFC, Bluetooth, and Internet connection are enabled on your device. Please do not switch the Bluetooth off while wearing your AION Shield.
