God has been with Yolŋu since the beginning. Since He created Yolŋu (people) in His image. He has walked across this land with His people. What He has done in the past, He continues to do. He changes lives. Where there is nothing, He creates. Where there is hopelessness, He brings hope. Where there is death, He brings life. Life today, and into eternity. God-Waŋarr is love. All God-Waŋarr wants from us is to love and trust Him. Tell Him that you know you have done wrong, and hurt Him. Ask for forgiveness and have the opportunity to start again, living in a relationship/friendship with Jesus, who gave His breath away so that you can breathe in the ŋir’ of Waŋarr. Read His Word (Bible), and make your talking to Him as important as every ŋir’. He wants you to live with, and for Him, and other people. So be part of the family, the church. Just as you receive, give! Ŋir’ life into the world and keep the songlines dancing.
