With SEDC's Mobile Workforce application, field crews can view work orders in list format or on a map of the utility's service area. By selecting specific work orders, the user can drill down into the order details and workflow. When work is completed, the order can be updated directly from the field, allowing teams in the office to view the updated order in near real time. With the integrated GPS capability, truck locations will display on the dispatcher's map, enabling better routing decisions, more appropriate crew assignments, and improved response time estimates.
