Product descriptionThe RB-4FXSFXO-ETH set is designed to transport four POTS type telephone lines and 10/100Base-Tx data over fiber optic, with high fidelity and with a universal, no setting, plug and play approach. The optical port requires a single strand of fiber, reaching up to 20Km over single-mode 9/125um or up to 1Km over multi-mode 50/125 or 62.5/125um fibers. Same unit can be used on either MMF or SMF media. The telephone lines extended support DTMF and Caller ID functions. LED indicators signal the power status, Ethernet/DATA, Fiber Link and Line status of each POTS port. The Transmitter unit has FXO ports for Telco or PBX lines and the Receiver unit has FXS port for handsets, fax-machines or dialers or any other phone line end devices. The position of the FXO and FXS unit should be properly observed during installation. The RB-4FXSFXO-ETH set is hardened for wide temperature operation (-20 to +70 Celsius) and includes wall mounting holes in the metal casing. Each unit is powered by a small separate AC adapter providing 5V/1A output. A special rack mounting solution is available by demand, please contact us for such inquiries.
