This application is a rich portrait database of all British Monarchs from Alfred The Great to King Charles III. The portraits may be browsed by date or duration of their reign. It also contains a year-by-year database of significant dates in British history from the Roman Conquest in AD43 to the present day. The scope of events includes not only those that took place in Britain but also those of a past colonial and broader world nature. The database can be searched for a given year and the events of that year (+/- a few) may be browsed. Alternatively a word search will display all years where that clue is found.
