While traveling in Europe you can use this Watch App to quickly find local places of interest. All place information is resident in the app so an Internet connection is not needed to read summary information about the place. The app uses the built in GPS to determine your location. Along with the displayed information you can also get a map of the location as well as driving or walking directions to it. The map and directions features however require an Internet connection to use. The app contains over 94,000 Europe places. Information displayed is extracted from Wikipedia and is current as of this app's release date. Selectable displays allow you to display all local places or you can select a category of places that interest you. The app limits the search distance to 15 miles / 24 km from you present location.
