My Pocket Lawyer Service is designed to offer legal education to the public and legal practitioners through I-Phone applications. Not designed to be used for legal advice or to take the place of an Attorney. Rather, it is a quick reference tool to acquaint the user with the basic concepts of a legal issue. To apply the standard or usual method to determine a correct outcome would normally require some knowledge of legal research, access to legal documents and reference material and the ability to interpret the results based on past court decisions, various legal jurisdiction of the court ie: state, federal or administrative. The first application to be created using this concept relates to Constitutional law. The App helps the user/consumer to determine if an action done by a government agent falls within the definition of a Constitutional act: Yes or No. (as it relates to search and seizure) It is designed to predict with a high degree of accuracy an answer within a very short period of time. Decisions made accurately and timely. Using the App will eliminate the timely application of facts to case law in what is described as a “case based” analysis. Instead of hours of legal research searching for a case that fits the facts the user/consumer can apply the App (a simple decision tree) within five questions Yes or No. The App predicts with a high degree of accuracy the probable outcome. The App can be used by law enforcement, attorneys, teachers and the general public.
