This app is designed to help people in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland who are living with and beyond a cancer diagnosis, their friends and family. It includes signposting to local support groups and information relating to cancer from organisations and charities such as Macmillan Cancer Support. Developed by the local cancer teams in the area, it offers a library of resources and information for people to access when needed.

The App is a virtual extension of the Chesterfield Macmillan Information and Support Centre that offers a different platform of communication aiming to raise engagement and awareness of the centre services and support that is available to anyone affected by cancer.
It contains information, support, financial advice, community services and all the Centre’s booklets in an easy to use App designed for patients, families, carers, health and social professionals, voluntary and statutory organisations.
