The Etesian Wind app receives and displays the wind speed from any Etesian Bluetooth LE anemometer that is within transmission range from a self-powered wireless anemometer. The app searches for any broadcasting anemometer signal and provides the user with the option to select one of the sensors for display on the main page. All of the detected anemometers wind speed and temperature transmissions can be viewed on a separate summary page. The user can select different units of measure including Celsius or Fahrenheit for temperature. Wind speed can be miles per hour (MPH), meters per second (m/s), knots or kilometers per hour (kph). The wireless anemometer is wind-powered and transmits the wind speed when it is powered. A 2 m/s wind speed is necessary to power the sensor. When a sensor is not transmitting the display will show dashes in place of the wind speed.
