The Daily Bread team reads these Torah texts aloud each day and adds sections from the Prophets, the Writings, and the Apostles (the New Testament). By following this reading schedule daily, you will have read through the entire Bible in a year. Daily Bread is made possible by the Het Woord Foundation. The daily reading is also available via the Daily Bread podcast, which is broadcast on various platforms. The mission of the Het Woord Foundation is to help bridge the gap between the Christian faith and its Hebrew roots. In this context, the foundation is also developing a new Bible translation: Het Woord.
