The ASIGN APP is a companion to the ASIGN Server and PC applications. It can not be used stand-alone. ASIGN visual information is relevant for situational awareness and decision-making during critical operations such as crisis, emergency disaster management and in security and surveillance, remote inspection, quality management and interactions between decision makers and observers. ASIGN mission-critical photo and video communications is fundamentally different from traditional approaches: - It is a system of geo-referenced visual communications that allows users to focus network resources on content that is relevant for operations. The communication becomes fast - easily 100 times faster than sending photos in full resolution, but via interactive communications from the receiver side, any region of interest in a photo can be pulled in up to full quality as needed for operations.
