Strands is a daily word strands puzzle and strategy game where players aim to complete squares on a grid to make a word. - How to Play Connect letters in any direction—up, down, left, right, or diagonally—to form words. Words must be at least 4 letters long. Each tile can only be used once per word. If there’s no number, there are no words starting with that letter. If a letter turns orange, it’s no longer used in the main words but may still appear in bonus words. - Hints Each puzzle provides 3 to 5 hints, represented by a lightbulb icon. When used, these hints reveal the first letter of a random word and the direction to start searching. You’ll get 3 to 5 hints based on puzzle difficulty.
