A work order can include the following details: * Instructions * Cost estimates * Date and time for execution * Information about location and entities to execute the work order * Person assigned to the task In a manufacturing environment, a work order is converted from a sales order, indicating that work is about to begin on manufacturing, building, or engineering the customer's requested products. In a service environment, a work order acts as a service order, recording the location, date, time, and nature of the service provided. It also includes rates (e.g., \$/hr, \$/week), the total hours worked, and the total value of the work order.
